- Clinic Relocation Notification: Gloucester Family Health Centre will be relocating to a new, larger facility at:
2626 Bank Street
Ottawa, Ontario
K1T 1M9
This relocation reflects the growth of our patient community and our intention to expand the range of services available to you. The new space will allow us to better accommodate patient volume and bring additional allied health and support services on-site over time.
The new location remains within close proximity to our current premises and continues to serve the same geographic area. It offers improved access via major roadways and public transit routes, with ample on-site parking. We anticipate that most patients will find travel time to be comparable, with enhanced transportation convenience for many.
The move is planned to take place by June 30, 2026. Following the move, all appointments (including urgent care) will be conducted virtually for 1 week. This is to ensure that all infrastructure and clinical equipment are safely moved, installed, and tested prior to reopening the physical clinic. The clinic will return to normal in-person appointments and scheduling for Monday, July 6th, 2026.
During the 1-week virtual period, administrative staff will continue answering any queries via phone calls and emails. There will be no disruption to your ongoing care. All physicians and staff will transition together, and your medical records will remain securely maintained within our existing systems.
Please be reassured that all current phone numbers and contact lines will remain unchanged and active throughout the transition.
As the entire practice is relocating, patients may either continue their care with us at the new location or arrange ongoing care with another physician elsewhere if they do not wish to transfer with the practice. If a patient wishes to transfer their records to another physician, this can be requested through the receiving physician’s office. An administrative fee in keeping with the standard OMA rate will apply.

We would like to inform you that our clinic will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026, so our team can rest, recharge, and spend time with their families and friends. This break will allow us to return refreshed and ready to continue providing the high-quality care you deserve.

- We are currently experiencing issues with our phone lines due to a technical outage. Rest assured, we are still here for you! Our service provider is working to resolve the issue, and we expect the lines to be back up within the next 24 hours.

- In response to patient feedback, we have increased access to Travel Medicine consultations for immunization history review, Travel Vaccines and location-specific travel advice. This service is now also open to patients who are not enrolled with the clinic. Despite widened access, we continue to recommend early booking to allow an immune response in time for your trip. - Gloucester Family Health Centre is proud to be a research practice. As a part of our research endeavors, we are piloting a confidential communication service called the Canadian Primary Care Information Network (CPIN) to improve patient outreach and encourage feedback. You may receive emails from us via this service, and they are not spam. Responses to any of the surveys are anonymized and voluntary. For more information, please contact us.
